Job Role and Purpose:
Execute and deliver projects in property & casualty insurance domain using various methodologies, partner products, and tools. Resp. for analysis, design, development (coding, unit testing), estimation (using WBS or FP). Oversee the support of a variety of mainframe related technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, Rexx, SAS, DFSORT, Synsort, MQ, DB2, GTAM, VSAM, COBOL XML, PMS, JavaScript/JQuery, SQL/ Relational DB development, ETL, File-Aid, File Manager, Changeman, Debug tool, USD (Unicenter Service Desk), Windows FTP process, Test Director. Perform different tests incl. regression, integration, user acceptance. Manage defects (using HP ALM & Test Director), web services, and SOA.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equiv in Comp Sci, Engineering (Comp/Mech/Elec) or related field, plus 5 years of experience in position involving similar duties/technical capabilities.
